Become a Member of BAA
New and returning members welcome! To apply for membership within the Budgerigar Association of America, you will need to complete an application and provide annual dues. Submit the form online notating your Exhibitor Status (Junior, Novice, Intermediate, or Champion) along with your dues (for single, junior members aged 7-17, or household/dual). Included with your annual dues is a print subscription to "Budgerigar Journal," the official newsletter of the BAA, published quarterly.
If desired, you may also add a booster or breeder listing for an additional charge with your annual membership.
Become an Affiliated Society
Budgerigar Association of America now offers two different affiliation options:
1. Affiliation dues are $200 per year, due January 1. This includes club insurance, eight medals, CC Awards, and a club BAA Journal subscription. Clubs choosing this option should complete the Affiliation Application and mail it with the $200 annual dues payment to Jo Vargo, Affiliation/Patronage Secretary, as indicated on the form. At least four months prior to your show(s), please complete and email the Patronage Application with your show details. To order show materials or other items, please complete the Patronage Order Form with payment when applicable.
2. Clubs that would like to affiliate with BAA but are not planning a show for the current year may choose the $25 “Affiliation Only” option. This option does not include medallions, CC Awards, or insurance. Clubs choosing this option should complete the Affiliation Application only.
Submit a Breeder Listing
For an additional $10, you may add a booster or Breeder Listing with your annual membership dues/application. This Breeder Listing will be published quarterly in the "Budgerigar Journal" and listed on the BAA Website. If you wish to do this, please add this to your membership application above.
